What Happened
On 6th December at 12:40 AM, BusBuddy experienced a complete backend service outage due to an automated policy violation flag by our cloud service provider. This suspension was triggered automatically by provider monitoring systems—not due to any manual action taken by our team. All backend APIs, live bus tracking, and notification services were temporarily interrupted.
Root Cause & Verified Clarifications
After continuous communication, architectural submissions, and technical verification directly with cloud engineering, we confirmed:
The suspension was caused by a false-positive detection by automated cloud monitoring systems, triggered by legitimate compute-heavy workloads such as backend batch jobs, image and document processing, and internal scheduled routines mistakenly classified as suspicious.

Actually, it’s not implemented because it needed to be backed by the university for GPS information… so no live location is not a bug… it’s never been implemented.
